TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT
written by: Denise Pearson/ Del Pearson

Yeah, uhm, I miss you baby, yeah, baby yeah I miss you

Lying here in my bedroom, with thoughts of you on my mind
I can't explain, baby why I let you slip away
I need you by my side, so Tell Me What You Want babe,

Chorus:
(Tell Me What You Want babe)
tell me what you want babe
(Tell me what you're needing)
tell me what you're needing
(You know I can give it)
you know I can give it
(Anything you wanted)
anything you wanted
(Tell Me What You Want babe)
tell me what you want babe
(You know that I'll be there)
you know that I'll be there
(In any situation)
in any situation
(Just call me, I come running)

Remembering, endless nights and endless days of loving, it felt so right
So baby, can't we spend forever and a day, tonight,
'Cause I need your loving babe,

Chorus:
(Tell Me What You Want babe)
tell me what you want baby
(Tell me what you're needing)
you gotta tell me what you need
(You know I can give it) you know
I can give you anything you want
(Tell Me What You Want babe)
I'm willing to change for you
(You know that I'll be there)
you know that I'll be there
(In any situation)
in any situation, woho!

(Tell Me What You Want babe tell me what you're needing)
(You know I can give it)
you know I can give it
(Anything you wanted)
anything you wanted, just tell me
(Tell Me What You Want babe, you know that I'll be there)
you know that I'll be there
(In any situation)
in any situation baby, just call me
(baby I come running)
call me

Tell me,
What you want,
What you need,
Baby (repeat to fade)

PERSONAL REVIEW:

Although I don't see too much wrong with this song, it just doesn't move me. It's a very easy-listening ballad, and it's perfect to play in a restaurant or elevator as background-music. I really do not mean it bad but for me it's a typical album-filler. One remarkable thing though, Denise 's voice is unbelievable strong at the "In Any Situation"-part, very very impressing! It's not unthinkable that this song sounds totally different on stage. Darron Smith talked about "Tell Me What You Want" in his "Guestpage" very enthusiastic, and I believe him. Five Star (or what's left of it) is even better on stage.
So, untill I'll hear them live, for me this is just an o.k.-track, nothing more nothing less.
