Baby, I'm right, maybe you're too young to decide, baby, you're blind she just wants to use you

Chorus:
Baby, I'm right, maybe you're too young to decide on who you're hung up on
Baby you're blind, she just wants to use you baby, decide on who you're hung up on

Maybe one day you'll see the light, what will it take for you to realize
You think to have one will satisfy, who will it be, the special one in your life

I wanna be there when you need me or things don't go right,
I wanna find you when you're lost in love it's alright (it's alright),
I wanna guide you to a place where you're thinking of,
but I refuse to be a second in love

Chorus

Never miss love until it's gone, to find a good thing in another man's arms,
don't walk away unless you're sure that you made the right choice,
I wanna be there when you need me or things don't go right,
I wanna find you when you're lost in love it's alright (it's alright),
I wanna guide you to a place where you're thinking of,
but I refuse to be a second in love

Chorus

Bridge:
I'm not looking for another man, no no no no, to start again would be different, baby,
Don't say goodbye, don't make me cry,
I just can't live without you
, baby you know,
in my life

Repeat Chorus To Fade

PERSONAL REVIEW:

Originally performed by Andrea Martin on her "The Best Of Me" 1998 -album (see also Five Star Channel-News August 2000). It was already quite a good track, but what Five Star did with it is really unbelievable!
This song is so radio-friendly, this just HAS to be a single. When playing it in public you notice people moving and singing along with it immediately. Even after playing it 50 times more, it doesn't bore you at all. Someone said that this is THE instant hit Five Star needs nowadays. And yes, I think so too.
The production is fresh and timeless at the same time. You could release this also a few years later and nobody will even notice the age. It's pop & soul mixed together with the very warm voice of Denise leading it. Another compliment goes out to Del(roy). He produced the track, which was a (nice) surprise for me, knowing his usually harsh and strong drum-programming.
This song has hit-potential, this song could mean the definite return of Five Star in the charts!
As a Five Star Fan this is a track to be proud of.
