PERSONAL REVIEW:
We've waited for a very long time, but Five Star made it back with a remarkable strong r&b-track. It's the first one since 1996 when they released the third in a remix-row of "I Give You Give". Funktafied will surprise people. It is a hot song with (finally) not the "squeaky clean" lyrics we expect from them. In the contrary. The lyrics are almost explicit. But necessary to wake up the crowd, and say "Hello! We still are here!". And yes, Denise looks as hot as the song with her new "tattoo- image". She also wrote the song and did an excellent job. Fortunately the promo-single is very well received at radiostations.
So, with a sweating video, proper promotion and fast distribution, Funktafied will bring Five Star definitely back in the 2001-charts!
