PERSONAL REVIEW:

Playing this song again I remember like it was yesterday how I heard it for the first time, unusually, on the radio...
Ten years ago it was #1 Dutch radio-DJ Robin Albers who interviewed Delroy & Lorraine in a "Treat Me Like A Lady" comeback-interview. A few months later, in the summer of '90, "Hot Love" and the "Five Star"-album were released.
Instead of promoting the single "Hot Love", this DJ suprisingly decided to play another song on the radio: "Feel Much Better". Although I always liked "Hot Love" (video & live acts), I perfectly understood this DJ's choice.
The production of this delicate song is maybe not too exciting, but the vocal expressions on it compensate the song completely to a strong and mature composition. I love the lyrics and I think that the parts of the background vocals mixing right through the song, was a very creative move of Denise.
No wonder Dutch pop-magazine "Hitkrant" claimed in their review on the "Five Star"-album that "Feel Much Better" was one of the 3 best tracks on the album (together with "What About Me Baby?" & "I Can Show You Love").
Conclusion: Great, great song. Love it, all the way...
